Parking and Directions
The Urban Epic Boston is happening in South Boston, so parking is limited. We highly encourage athletes to arrive early to avoid potential parking issues.

Parking

Most parking will be available at the Bayside Expo Center, off Morrissey Blvd. It is very easy to get the to the Expo Center from I-93 (Exit 15). There is also parking available on some city streets, however, the bike course will be closed to traffic on race morning, so normal traffic patterns will be altered, and "No Parking" signs will be posted. If you park illegally, your car will be towed.

Towing from William Day Blvd will begin at Midnight on Saturday, August 15th. There will be no parking on William Day Blvd between Midnight on Saturday and Noon on Sunday, August 16th.

Directions to Parking and Transition Area
From the South – Take 93 North to Exit 15. Once off the Highway, go right onto Columbia Rd and halfway around the traffic circle, then take a right on William Day Blvd, followed by a left onto Mt Vernon Street. Follow the signs for the Bayside Expo Parking, and take a left into the lots. Volunteers will instruct you to park. Please listen to the volunteers and do not park in the first spot you see.

From the North –Take 93 North to Exit 15. Once off the Highway, go left onto Columbia Rd and halfway around the traffic circle, then take a right on William Day Blvd, followed by a left onto Mt Vernon Street. Follow the signs for the Bayside Expo Parking, and take a left into the lots. Volunteers will instruct you to park. Please listen to the volunteers and do not park in the first spot you see.

From Quincy - Take Morrissey Blvd Northbound. Exit for Mt Vernon St before reaching the Kosciuszko Traffic Circle. Take a right onto Mt Vernon Street. Follow the signs for the Bayside Expo Parking, and take a left into the lots. Volunteers will instruct you to park. Please listen to the volunteers and do not park in the first spot you see.

From South Boston - Take Columbia Rd Westbound to the Kosciuszko Traffic Circle. Go a quarter of the way around the circle then take a right on William Day Blvd, followed by a left onto Mt Vernon Street. Follow the signs for the Bayside Expo Parking, and take a left into the lots. Volunteers will instruct you to park. Please listen to the volunteers and do not park in the first spot you see.

The Finish/Post-Race is located about 1 mile from the Expo Center. There are walking paths and beaches between the venues.

Road Closures and Delays

A number of roads will be impacted on Race Morning. Please note the following changes in vehicular traffic:

- William Day Blvd will be CLOSED from Kosciuszko Circle to the Farragut Statue at East First Street from 5:00am to 12 Noon.

- The Farragut Statue Circle will be CLOSED from 5:00am to 12 Noon.

- There will be no parking at any of the lots on William Day Blvd with the road is closed.

The following streets are recommended as alternatives routes:

Columbia Ave will be open and runs parallel to William Day Blvd.

Farragut Road will be open up to Columbia Rd.

Shore Road (East 1st Street) will be two way traffic during the race, and provides access to Castle Island.

William Day Blvd. will be open between the Farragut Statue and Castle Island.
