|  Parking and Directions The Zone Urban Epic is happening in downtown Portland, so parking is limited. We highly encourage athletes to arrive early to avoid potential parking issues. Parking Shuttle service will be provided to and from the following lots: the Marginal Way Park 'n Ride, and the County Courthouse Garage. We encourage race participants, spectators, and volunteers to park in the designated lots. No parking is available at the transition area or in the surrounding neighborhoods. All vehicles parked in restricted areas will be towed prior to the start of the race. Shuttle Buses and Lots Free and convenient shuttle buses will run between the designated parking lots to the triathlon/festival area. Please view maps for the pre – race shuttle bus schedule and specifics. The last returning bus is at 1:30pm. Marginal Way Park and Ride: Athlete and Spectator parking. Pre – race shuttle bus 6:00am – 7:30am every 15 min. Post-race shuttle bus 10:30am-1:30am This lot is free. Courthouse Lot Park and Ride: Athlete and Spectator parking. Pre – race shuttle bus 6:00am – 7:30am every 15 min. Post-race shuttle bus 10:30am-1:30am. This lot has a day rate of $3. Ocean Gateway Lot: Open parking. No shuttle available (within 1/4 mile of the TA and Maine State Pier), This lot has a day rate of $10. For a Google Map click HERE Directions to Transition/Festival Area From the South – Take 95 North to 295 North toward Portland. Once on 295, get off at Exit 4 heading toward Portland Waterfront. Take a right at the light and follow Commercial Street all the way through town. At the end of Commercial Street, take a left onto India Street, and then a right onto Fore St. The transition /festival area is approximately 1/3 mile down the road. From the North – Take exit 7 on 295 South. Go through four sets of lights (Whole Foods will be on the right as you are going up the hill) until you are at the intersection of Fore Street.
